Intention to acquire by Cronos group

Cronos brings resources, global expertise, and innovative technologies that will enable us to maintain and further develop the highest quality and transparency standards.

Cronos Group, known for its R&D, advanced genetics, and expertise in highly regulated markets, is an ideal match for us. Cronos recognizes and values our leading role and the unique, responsible setup of the Dutch Cannabis Experiment. This partnership not only safeguards our continuity and the quality people expect from us but also offers opportunities for the retention and potential growth of local employment and support for our local supply chain.

With Cronos as our partner, we remain 100% committed to the goals of the Cannabis Experiment, maintaining local production as required by Dutch regulations. Cronos shares our vision to contribute to an even more transparent, safer, and more controllable system for cannabis in the Netherlands, serving as an example for Europe.

With Cronos's expertise, we have recently invested €3 million in advanced technology to mitigate odor nuisance. Cronos plans to continue these efforts with additional resources, technology, and expertise, as required to work towards a sustainable solution. The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions, including completion of regulatory clearances required in the Netherlands.
